Today, Singgit Sirkulo sang Pamatan-on opens the Summer class for our community kids. To commence, Purok Mainuswagon kids gathered around to learn and to participate in the week-long personality development program. This includes visual arts, music, dance, writing and some storytelling sessions that are helpful in developing their skills and their view of learning.
The following weeks shall be spent with the other 6 puroks of Brgy Poblacion in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo and one special visit shall be dedicated to the kids of aeta community in Sitio Nagpana, Brgy Lipata of the same municipality.
We are happy that we take these tiny steps. As believers of dreaming, the arts and music, we polish ourselves on the process. We realize that the talents that we have are best realized and cherished when shared.
Singgit sang Pamatan-on firmly believes that you need not be one martyr to make a difference in the lives of others. You can still be your cool, kick-ass, childlike self while inspiring and influencing.
